THE HANGOVER 4 (2025) – Teaser Trailer | Bradley Cooper & Zach Galifianakis

As of now, The Hangover Part 4 does not exist, and there are no confirmed plans for its development. Despite rumors and fan speculation, the franchise concluded with The Hangover Part III in 2013. The trilogy, directed by Todd Phillips, grossed over $1.4 billion worldwide on a combined production budget of $218 million. The first film, released in 2009, was a massive success, earning $467 million on a $35 million budget, making it one of the highest-grossing R-rated comedies of all time. However, the sequels saw diminishing critical and commercial returns, with Part II grossing $586 million on an $80 million budget and Part III earning $362 million on a $103 million budget.

If The Hangover Part 4 were to happen, it would likely require a significant budget, potentially exceeding $100 million, given the increased star power of the cast. Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, and Zach Galifianakis have all become major Hollywood figures, and their salaries would reflect their current status. For example, during the sequels, the main cast negotiated substantial pay raises, earning $5 million each plus a percentage of the gross for Part II. A fourth installment would likely see even higher demands.

In terms of plot, fans speculate that The Hangover Part 4 could reunite the Wolfpack for one final misadventure, possibly involving a family reunion or a nostalgic return to Las Vegas. However, cast members like Ed Helms have expressed doubts about revisiting the series, with Helms once stating the chances of a fourth film were “between zero and zero.” Bradley Cooper, on the other hand, has shown interest, but director Todd Phillips seems focused on more serious projects like Joker.

Ultimately, while the franchise remains beloved, a fourth film remains purely hypothetical at this point.
