Kraven the Hunter (2024) dives deep into the origin story of one of Spider-Man’s most dangerous and iconic foes, Sergei Kravinoff, better known as Kraven. Played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Kraven’s journey from a young boy into a relentless and powerful hunter is filled with tragedy, ambition, and betrayal, setting him on a collision course with both his family and society.
The movie opens with Kraven’s troubled childhood, where he is forced to live up to his father’s brutal expectations. His father, Nikolai Kravinoff, an authoritarian leader of a Russian aristocratic family, believes that only the strongest survive. After the death of his father under mysterious circumstances, Kraven sets out on a quest to prove his superiority over any beast, man, or creature.
