The Prey 2 trailer opens with a haunting, atmospheric shot of the vast Great Plains under a blood-red sunset. Naru (Amber Midthunder), now a seasoned warrior, stands atop a ridge, scanning the horizon, her eyes filled with intensity and determination. Her voiceover sets a foreboding tone: “We thought the nightmare was over. But they’ve come back… stronger.”
The scene shifts to Naru living with her tribe, years after the events of Prey (2022). Peace has returned, but the trauma of the first Predator encounter lingers. As she teaches the younger warriors the skills that once saved her people, strange signs begin to appear—a burned forest, mysterious symbols carved into rocks, and mutilated animal carcasses. Naru knows the signs too well. The Predators have returned, and this time, they aren’t alone.
The trailer cuts to a tense night scene in the forest as eerie, clicking sounds echo around the Comanche camp. Naru and her warriors prepare, but the new Predator that emerges is more advanced, wearing enhanced armor and wielding new, deadlier weapons. As it cloaks and moves through the trees with lightning speed, picking off warriors one by one, the tribe realizes they are facing a far more dangerous hunter than before.
The intensity builds as Naru and her brother Taabe (Dakota Beavers), who was thought to have perished in the first film, are reunited. Taabe, now scarred but alive, reveals that he has been tracking the Predator’s movements. Together, they form a plan to trap and outwit the alien hunter.
In a series of quick-cut action scenes, we see Naru mastering new weapons, including advanced Predator tech she scavenged from the previous encounter. Explosive combat sequences in dense forests and open plains highlight Naru’s growth as a warrior and leader. The Predator uses brutal, high-tech weapons, including a net that disintegrates its victims and an energy-based spear, raising the stakes to a new level.
The trailer’s climax shows Naru facing off against the Predator in a final showdown, using a combination of traditional Comanche tactics and the Predator’s own technology. In the final shot, Naru stands bloodied but unbroken as she delivers a chilling warning to the Predator: “This land is ours. And we’ll never stop fighting.”
The screen fades to black as the title card appears: Prey 2 – Coming 2024.
