Titanic 2 (2025) – Trailer | Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet

The trailer opens with haunting, orchestral music and an aerial shot of a massive ship, the Titanic II, cutting through the icy waters of the North Atlantic. The camera zooms in on the ship’s name, glistening in gold letters against its pristine white hull. A voiceover by the ship’s captain (played by a new actor) proudly announces: “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard the Titanic II, the pinnacle of modern engineering, built to honor the legacy of the unsinkable vessel and ensure that history never repeats itself.”

Cut to scenes of passengers boarding, a diverse mix of the wealthy elite, families, and historians excited for the voyage of a lifetime. Among them is our protagonist, Anna (portrayed by a well-known actress), a marine archaeologist with a deep connection to the original Titanic’s tragic story. As the ship sets sail, Anna’s excitement is tinged with unease. “It’s almost like we’re tempting fate,” she tells her colleague, glancing nervously at the iceberg-laden waters.

The mood quickly shifts as a series of strange, unsettling events plague the ship. Passengers report hearing ghostly whispers and seeing shadowy figures on the deck at night. Anna begins to experience vivid dreams of the original Titanic’s passengers, reliving the night it sank. Determined to understand what’s happening, she investigates the ship’s lower decks and discovers a chilling truth: the Titanic II has been built not just as a tribute, but using salvaged materials from the original wreck, bringing with them a dark curse.

As Anna tries to warn the captain and crew, the ship encounters a sudden, unexpected storm. Waves crash against the hull, and alarms blare as the engines fail, plunging the ship into darkness. Panic spreads as the vessel drifts dangerously close to a massive iceberg field. The crew fights to regain control, but it’s too late—the ship collides with a towering iceberg, sending a shudder through the decks.

The trailer reaches its climax with chaotic scenes of passengers scrambling to lifeboats, the ship tilting ominously as water floods in. Anna, desperate to save as many as she can, confronts the ghostly apparition of a Titanic survivor who warns her: “You can’t change the past. But you can save the future.”

The final shot shows the Titanic II sinking beneath the waves, Anna clinging to a lifeboat as she looks back at the doomed ship. The screen fades to black, and the title card appears: Titanic 2 – Coming 2025.
