The trailer opens with a haunting piano rendition of “My Heart Will Go On,” as the camera sweeps over the eerily serene wreckage of the Titanic, deep beneath the ocean. The voice of an older Rose (Kate Winslet) whispers: “I always believed he was lost forever… but some stories never end.”
Cut to a state-of-the-art research vessel floating above the Atlantic. Scientists and divers are shown preparing for a groundbreaking mission. “We’ve discovered something unprecedented,” says Dr. Keller (Cillian Murphy), looking at the screen that displays the sunken Titanic. “There’s an intact compartment… and it’s unlike anything we’ve ever seen.”
A dramatic dive sequence follows. The camera plunges into the depths of the ocean, navigating through the wreckage. Tense music builds as the team enters a sealed, frozen chamber. Suddenly, the beam of a diver’s light reveals a figure encased in ice—Jack Dawson (Leonardo DiCaprio), perfectly preserved, his eyes closed. Gasps are heard through the team’s radio.
“He’s… he’s alive,” a diver stammers. The screen cuts to black.
Back on the surface, in a high-tech lab, Jack is shown in a medical pod, the frost melting from his body. Doctors and scientists work frantically. “His body has been in stasis, preserved by the freezing temperatures,” Dr. Keller explains. “If we can revive him, it’ll be the first time in history.”
The tension escalates as the camera zooms in on Jack’s face. Suddenly, his eyes snap open. He gasps, struggling to breathe. “Where am I?” he whispers hoarsely. Scenes flash rapidly: Jack, bewildered, walking through modern-day New York, his eyes wide with disbelief at skyscrapers and bustling crowds.
We see him searching through archives, finding photographs and videos of Rose’s life after the Titanic. His face crumbles with emotion as he sees her aging, marrying, having children—living a life he never got to share. “She never forgot you,” says a voice softly, and Jack turns to see Rose’s granddaughter (Saoirse Ronan), holding the Heart of the Ocean.
The trailer builds to a dramatic confrontation aboard a luxury cruise ship eerily similar to the Titanic. Jack faces off against a shadowy figure from his past, determined to uncover the truth behind his survival.
The screen fades to the title: “Titanic 2: Jack is Alive.” The final shot shows Jack, standing on the bow of the ship, looking out at the horizon as the sun rises, his face a mix of hope and sorrow.
The trailer ends with the hashtag: #JackIsBack.
