CONJURING 4: The Last Rites – Teaser Trailer – Warner Bros

The trailer for Conjuring 4: The Last Rites opens with an eerie silence, broken only by the creaking of an old, wooden door. The camera slowly moves through a dimly lit, abandoned church, its candles flickering despite the absence of wind. As tension builds, we hear a haunting whisper: “The devil never forgets.” Suddenly, a loud bang jolts the viewer, and we are introduced to Ed and Lorraine Warren (played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga) once again, preparing for their most dangerous case yet.

A title card flashes: “Based on True Events”.

The trailer quickly cuts to a terrified family in a small, remote village. Strange occurrences—doors slamming, objects moving by themselves, and the chilling voice of an unseen presence—torment them. The Warrens are called in to investigate, and Lorraine, in her trademark clairvoyant state, senses something darker than ever before. “This isn’t just a haunting,” she warns, “it’s a reckoning.”

As the trailer progresses, we see flashbacks to a Vatican exorcism gone horribly wrong. A possessed priest was never fully exorcised, and now, years later, that same evil has returned with a vengeance. The spirit is revealed to be a powerful demon seeking revenge on the Warrens for past confrontations. Lorraine experiences disturbing visions of demonic rituals, dark cloaked figures, and the ultimate act of sacrilege—The Last Rites being twisted into a tool for evil.

The action ramps up with a series of jump-scares and intense moments: Ed fighting to protect Lorraine as she is drawn deeper into the demon’s grasp, walls shaking violently, and a spectral figure emerging from the shadows, dripping with blood. The tension peaks as the Warrens confront the demon in the same church where the original exorcism failed. The entity, now stronger than ever, seems unstoppable.

The trailer ends with Lorraine screaming as she is pulled into the darkness, while Ed frantically tries to pull her back. The screen goes black, followed by the title: “Conjuring 4: The Last Rites”. The last whisper echoes chillingly: “Some prayers can’t save you.”

This entry promises to be the most terrifying, bringing a sense of finality to the Warrens’ haunted journey.
