Aladdin 2 – Teaser Trailer (2025) | Will Smith, Mena Massoud, Naomi Scott | Disney+

In this speculative version of Aladdin 2 (2025), the teaser trailer offers fans a first glimpse at the highly anticipated sequel to Disney’s 2019 live-action hit. Will Smith returns as the Genie, along with Mena Massoud as Aladdin and Naomi Scott as Jasmine, reprising their roles in a grand new adventure that builds on the magic of the original.

The teaser opens with a sweeping shot of Agrabah, more vibrant and alive than ever. The camera zooms into the palace, where Aladdin and Jasmine now rule as Sultan and Sultana. Jasmine, dressed in royal attire, stands at a balcony overlooking the city. She speaks softly about her dreams for a new era of peace and prosperity for Agrabah. “But peace,” she says ominously, “never lasts forever.”

Suddenly, the screen goes dark, and we hear a haunting voice whisper, “You cannot outrun your past, Aladdin.” In the next shot, we see a shadowy figure wielding a glowing, mysterious artifact—hinting at the return of a villain, possibly Jafar, who may have found a way to escape the confines of his lamp.

Will Smith’s Genie bursts onto the scene, bringing comic relief and his iconic charisma, saying, “We’re gonna need more than three wishes for this one, kid!” As the teaser progresses, we see rapid-fire clips of new, breathtaking locations—an enchanted desert, a mystical island surrounded by storms, and an ancient, lost city.

Aladdin and Jasmine are shown journeying far beyond the borders of Agrabah, encountering new allies and foes. There’s a brief glimpse of a mysterious new character, a rogue sorceress, played by a yet-to-be-revealed actress, who may hold the key to defeating this new threat.

In a visually stunning scene, the teaser shows Aladdin riding on the magic carpet, narrowly dodging a barrage of fireballs as the Genie turns into various larger-than-life forms to shield them. The tension rises as the teaser closes with Jafar’s laughter echoing through the air, his eyes glowing red as he reclaims his serpent staff.

The trailer ends with Genie snapping his fingers, saying, “Buckle up!” before the iconic Aladdin theme song plays, promising a magical, action-packed journey in 2025.
